Who LuxHouse are
A development and manufacturing company for modular prefab houses, based in Borovnica. The SX1, MX1 and LX ranges, prefabricated modules and digitised processes.
The houses had to be sold before the first one stood, and the modularity had to be explained — and modularity is not something a photograph can show.
Architectural renders
The first houses were sold before any of them stood, so the render had to do the work of a photograph. From the SX1 and MX1 models came frames in context: a house with a carport and solar panels, the same house at dusk with the windows lit, and a setting with a terrace. The same frames go into the quote, onto the website and into advertising.
The build system
A wall panel and a floor panel, exploded into layers and labelled, and the same panel and module with services and energy flows. These are drawings for a conversation with an investor and for a tender, where a handsome exterior frame is not enough and what the house is made of has to be shown.
The website
The site carries three things at once: the house models with their floor areas and room layouts, an explanation of the modular system, and a chapter on architectural modularity. The renders on the site are the same as in the quote, so the house online and the house in the conversation are not two different houses.
