A whole catalogue out of one studio
Who DreamCase are
Kranj. Folding made-to-measure mattresses for Tesla vehicles, models S, 3, X and Y, and for other cars. Memory foam, platforms, pillows and accessories, all folded into a case that fits in the boot. A niche for camping with an electric vehicle, sold across Europe.
The client had renders that no longer held up. A buyer decides on the fabric and the build rather than the shape, so a render that does not survive a close look says nothing. And then there is a configurator that swaps pieces between each other: if the mattress and the pillow come from two different set-ups, the set on screen falls apart the moment the buyer changes colour.
Everything modelled from scratch
Folding mattresses, pillows, covers and the case, down to the seams, the edges and the straps. Nothing was carried over from the old material, because that was exactly why the renders no longer held up.
A studio that holds every piece to the same level
Instead of a set-up per product, one studio that the whole catalogue passes through. The mattress and the pillow come out of the same light and the same framing, so they do not diverge in the configurator when a buyer changes fabric. Up close the material has to hold too, so the texture of the surface is part of the shot rather than an addition to it.
